盐胁迫直接影响植物的生长，我国现有约9913万公顷的盐碱土地，占全国可用耕地面积近四分之一，无法进行大规模农作物种植。植物耐盐碱促生菌可以通过调节土壤pH值，促进植物对营养物质的吸收，调节植物激素，调节植物耐受氧化和渗透胁迫的能力等，帮助植物抵抗盐碱胁迫在逆境下生长增产。 对于耐盐碱促生菌Bacillus subtilis N51和Bacillus cereus T146，实验室现通过连续发酵，优化发酵工艺以及喷雾干燥工艺，制备孢子形成率达70%以上、干粉菌剂活菌数目达1010/g的菌剂。 对于菌株Kocuria sp. LA1T6、Bacillus sp. LA1T8和Pseudomonas sp.T44，实验室现进行多糖包衣制剂的开发，研制高稳定性、成膜性、安全性和缓释性的包衣制剂。
